M&E Coordinator
Job Description
The post holder will be working within the program department to develop a system for monitoring, evaluation and learning within the country and work very closely with Program team. The incumbent will work towards Optimizing and standardizing the M&E system using the prescribe Results Based Management (RBM) tools, and software applications such Program Database-2 (PDB2) and Pro Digi system in all project locations of the country.
Duties
- Facilitate development and implementation of M&E activities tools in all project locations.
- Leading monitoring on key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting quality data input into Live data system: PDB2.
- Supports the collection and dissemination of research results and good practices (lessons-learnt logs) and systematization, at project level location.
- Support the process for identifying and designing key indicators, key performance questions and parameters for monitoring project performance and evaluating projects.
- Liaise with all village directors to improve data quality and making sure their staff signed on consent forms and data protection agreements.
- Regular revision on beneficiaries’ information for ensuring better and improving data quality
- Regularly review and make sure the data updating in each program unit has been updated with PDB2 focal persons at project locations.
- Monitor and ensure the data of each indicator is up to date.
- Do monthly and quarterly statistics for Pro DiGi system and Asia Dashboard templates.
- Coordinate data quality audit mainstreaming in all locations, based on action plans
- Support programme/project managers in the process of development of result frameworks and monitoring plans by using statistics from existing database systems, assessment/research results, and examples of good practices and systematization
- Conducts internal RBM level self-assessments and respective action plans
- Capacity building on RBM system and programme related data input and data quality management
- Supports reporting and evaluation process
- Prepare as a related date presentation for SOS CV Cambodia in the area of monitoring and evaluation.
- Presentation key data figures and indications from SOS database systems, including PDB2, RBM and Pro DiGi, for the purposes of review, monitoring, planning, and reporting for management at project and national levels.
- Provides regular reports to the direct superior, and upon request for other stakeholders and partners.
- Prepare the PDB2 data analysis report and present it in Review and Planning Meeting
Requirements
- Minimum desired qualification is bachelor’s degree in statistics or development related subjects such as social work, sociology etc.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E with reputed NGOs/INGOs.
- Knowledge and experience of programme planning, implementation, and results-based management, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting process.
- Knowledge of designing and implementing tools such as baseline, survey, and assessment
- Knowledge of other popular data analysis applications such as SPSS will be an added advantage.
- Ability to train and do capacity building via Online and Offline training modes
- Clear accurate communication
- Strong analytical organizational skills.
- The ability to maintain strict confidentiality related to data protection and confidentiality.
- Patient, mature responsible person.
- Be a good team player.
