Job Description
The NGO Forum on Cambodia is a well-respected membership-based organization. It comprises of 70 local and international non-governmental organizations, each specializing in different areas of humanitarian and development assistance to Cambodia. NGOF exists to represent the priorities and concerns of these civil society organizations. These CSOs in turn, are accountable to the poor and vulnerable people of Cambodia. The NGO Forum was stablished in the early 1980’s by international NGOs campaigning for an end to the aid embargo imposed on Cambodia at that time. Over the last three decades, The NGO Forum on Cambodia has evolved in response to changing socio-political climate of the country. Since its inception, The NGO Forum on Cambodia has accumulated significant institutional expertise in convening CSOs, facilitating networks of members in shared advocacy work, representing the diversity of members’ views and interests, and constructively engaging with government, development partners and private sector. Currently, the NGO Forum is seeking qualified Cambodian candidate as the Internship Opportunity.
Location: Phnom Penh, The NGO Forum on Cambodia Office
Allowance: Negotiable
Duration of performance: 6 Months

Duties:
- Program and Administrative Support:
– Assist with planning, coordination, and implementation of program activities, events, and projects.
– Help refine the program results framework and contribute to reports, documents, and materials.
– Assist with basic program budgeting and disbursement tasks.
– Provide regular progress updates to the program manager.
– Assist with project tracking, identifying challenges, and developing solutions.
– Participate in training and capacity-building activities.
– Assist with developing training materials and resources.
– Provide administrative support to program staff (scheduling meetings, organizing workshops, managing emails, etc.).
– Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and team members.
– Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions. - Research and Data Analysis:
– Conduct literacy review on relevant laws and policies affecting marginalized groups.
– Participate in design of questionnaire design
– Gather data from field or from NGOs (if needed)
– Analyze data to inform program strategies and recommendations. - Communication and Outreach:
– Assist with developing and disseminating program communications (newsletters, social media, press releases).
– Drafting content for NGOF’s website and social media.
– Support outreach efforts to engage stakeholders, partners, and communities.
Requirements
- Aged from 18-30
- Bachelor’s degree in law, social sciences, development studies, or related field
- Proficiency in Khmer and English
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft office packages.
- Creativity and initiative.
- Collaborative teamwork approach.
